Shameel Haider joins BCFG as Chief Legal & Audit Officer, bringing with him over 17 years of international legal leadership across corporate, regulatory, and transactional domains.

Shameel has a proven track record of advising on and leading multibillion-dollar transactions, including mega construction and development projects across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. His experience spans a wide range of industries and legal disciplines, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, data privacy, and regulatory affairs.

Prior to joining BCFG, Shameel held senior regional legal roles with the best globally recognized organizations. He served as Head of Legal, AMESSAP at IFFCO, overseeing legal operations across the Americas, Middle East, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Pakistan. He was Senior Legal Counsel for the Greater Middle East Area, Pakistan, and West Africa at Tetra Pak, and Legal Counsel at Coca-Cola, where he also acted as legal business partner to supply chain, HR, and business technology teams.

Earlier in his career, he served with Etisalat Pakistan (Ufone) as Manager Corporate & Legal Affairs, and later as Head of Contract Management (Global Supplier Management) at Telenor. He also played a strategic legal role in the Telecom, FMCG and construction industry, managing a diverse portfolio involving corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and strategic commercial contracts.

Shameel holds a Master’s degree in Commercial Law from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia, and an LLB (Hons.) from the University of London.
